Description
Apogee Fragment 09 is an original oil painting on canvas by Bartosz Beda, created in 2026. It belongs to the Apogee series, a body of abstract figurative paintings that show the human figure foreshortened, seen from the feet, painted with direct, aggressive brushwork.
Several figures overlap in motion, dark feet against blue-gray and cream, with small flashes of orange and yellow along the lower edge.
The Apogee series began in 2026, after a trip to Italy in the spring of that year, where the ceiling frescoes of Raphael and Michelangelo set its direction. Apogee means the highest point, the climax of development. The painting is sold directly from the artist’s studio in Dallas, Texas. Oil on canvas, 48 x 48 inches (122 x 122 cm). It comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and ships worldwide for free in a custom wooden crate.
