Description

In Landscape 003, the sky carries most of the drama. Turquoise and aqua shapes break across a soft brown band, with small white clusters suggesting clouds or light striking the surface. A triangular form on the right reads like a distant peak, while the lower half of the painting settles into stacked greens and ochres that feel like fields seen from a rise.

The acrylic is worked in layers; you can see both opaque passages and thinner washes where the paper shows through. From an angle, raised strokes along the horizon and in the foreground pick up reflections, giving the piece a physical presence despite its modest size.
