Description
At 48×36 inches, “Mirage 09” gives the apparition room to breathe. A huge pale yucca — nearly white-green, built from thousands of fine radiating strokes — dominates the canvas, with a smaller vivid green form at the right edge for scale. The top holds a dark blue night band; the bottom dissolves into green leaf litter. The seams between panels stay visible, a reminder that this large image is assembled from parts, like memory itself. Beda works the big form with the same scratch-and-rebuild method as the small paintings, just at a scale that fills the room. Original oil on canvas, 122×92 cm, 2026. Signed, with certificate of authenticity. Questions: info [at] bartoszbeda [dot] com
