Description
“Mirage 03” pairs two yuccas under a band of bright sky-blue that runs across the top of the inner panel. Around them, the outer painting is a thicket of dark green-black strokes combed outward, scratched and reworked until the surface feels carved rather than painted. Look closely and the painting shows its own history: passages removed, colors buried and dug back up. That archaeology is the point. What we fail to notice does not disappear. It waits. Original oil on canvas, 11×14 inches (28×36 cm), 2026. Signed, with certificate of authenticity. Questions: info [at] bartoszbeda [dot] com
