Description
Owing to the Absence 28 is the smallest work in this group at 30×23 cm, yet its black ink gestures carry a searching urgency that fills the sheet. Strokes cross and double back on themselves, mapping the space where a figure might have stood. The drawing feels like a note made in haste — before the memory faded — and that immediacy gives it a rare, electric tenderness. It is an ideal first acquisition for a collector drawn to Beda’s ink practice.
