Refreshed 04

Description

Refreshed 04 belongs to Bartosz Beda’s Interiors series, in which the artist returns to the same spaces again and again, each time finding them changed. Painted in oil on canvas, the work reimagines a familiar room as a luminous field of shifting color and dissolving form.

At 152 × 122 cm (60 × 48 in), this large painting rewards slow looking — its layered surfaces reveal buried gestures and half-hidden architectures. It speaks to renewal: the idea that a place, like a painting, can be endlessly begun again.
