Description

Triggers 01 (2020) is an original 46 x 30 cm (18 x 12 in) work on paper from Bartosz Beda’s Triggers series, created with acrylic, charcoal and gesso. The composition builds tension between sweeping gestural marks and quieter passages of rubbed charcoal, the gesso ground lending the surface a luminous, tactile depth.

Each layer of the painting registers a moment of decision — a trigger released, a response recorded. The work carries the raw energy of Beda’s studio practice, where drawing and painting merge into a single physical act.
