Description
Owing to the Absence 13 closes the series’ arc with a standing figure caught mid-disappearance: the core of the body is drawn with conviction, while its edges break apart into drifting streaks and blots of ink. The figure seems to be leaving the paper as we look, turning absence into an event rather than a state.
This 2022–23 ink on paper work measures 77 × 56 cm. It is a fitting final movement — a portrait of letting go, rendered with both tenderness and resolve.
